This was how I prepped my client for her wig install. We got rid of ALL the split ends before braiding her hair up.

I know a lot of women hate to lose their length but not cutting off theirs damaged ends only makes the situation worse.

I’m thinking of creating some type of hair maintenance subscription or prepaid package where clients could just come in and get their hair shampooed and trimmed because its honestly a little heartbreaking to have to cut so much of y’all’s hair off. I know life gets in the way sometimes (I’m definitely guilty of this) but I want better for us. Let me know what yall think. Would you pay for just a maintenance subscription to stay on top of your hair care?

So this was my first attempt at Keratin tips (k-tips). While there are definitely some things I would do differently we were both satisfied with the results. I’m currently looking for clients who want to try this style.

Ktips are one of the most versatile methods of extensions where a stylist bonds pieces of hair to the clients hair with keratin. It’s used to add length and density while still being lightweight.

The no is not never but we always come up with a plan to get you to your goal. I educate my clients and from there they take my advice or not but you can’t ever say I didn’t tell you the truth.

My favorite mantra is START WHERE YOU ARE. No matter the destination start where you are with what you have and walk towards your destiny.

So many times I’ve wanted to start and grow a hair extension business and for one reason or another it never materialized to what I’d imagine. I did all the things I believed you had to do to from creating a website, ordering tags and bags, posting pictures and videos but nothing. I would always make it a quarter of the way to the destination but no further. Restarting at a different place EVERYTIME.

What I’ve learned is it was all apart of the journey. I had to learn what not to do but more specifically what TO DO. The only thing that really matters in the whole journey is that I keep going. KEEP GOING and you will reach your destination.

All that to say I’m back on the journey and this time I’m taking you guys with me. Thanks to all my existing clients who wholeheartedly support me and my friends to offer me love, counsel and encouragement because this is y’all’s too.
